Walmart earns recognition in Las Vegas for choosing to save honey bees.
Just another WordPress site Walmart has been recognized in Las Vegas for its decision to save honey bees from its properties, rather than removing them by other methods. Vegas Bees, a local live bee removal company, removed two honey bee colonies from Walmart properties recently and relocated them to a managed apiary where they continue to forage and produce honey. This decision carries significant significance for a large corporation like Walmart, where honey bees are often treated as a liability. The relocation of these colonies, which pollinate a wide range of food crops and garden plants, also makes practical sense for property owners. Vegas Bee's mission is to remove unwanted bee colonies safely and keep them alive by moving them to managed apiaries.
