Top Las Vegas official steps down after 26 years

City of Las Vegas Communications Director David Riggleman has announced his retirement from his position after 26 years. He took his position in 1999 in then-Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman's first term and served under three mayors, 25 council members, and six city managers. Riggman was responsible for media relations, government-access KCLV Channel 2, and social-media, marketing/advertising and print publications. He was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2006.
