Lawsuit: Teen sexually assaulted while unconscious at house party
A teen and her parents sued Henderson homeowners, an HOA and a security firm, alleging she was sexually assaulted while unconscious at a party where minors drank alcohol. A teenage girl and her parents have filed a lawsuit against Henderson homeowners, an HOA and a security firm alleging she was sexually assaulted while unconscious at a house party in 2025. The plaintiffs, identified as Jane and John Doe, are accusing Tina and Vipul Shah, The Estates at Green Valley Ranch Owners Association and its security contractor St. Moritz Security Services of gross negligence, civil conspiracy, aiding and abetting, and infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit also alleges that the Shahs violated state’s “social host” liability laws, which allow adults to be held civilly and criminally liable if a minor consumes alcohol on their property. It seeks over $100,000 in damages. While the lawsuit stated that a report was made to the Henderson Police Department, the case remained open, the department responded to multiple requests for clarification.
