Bucknell men's basketball assistant coaches Matt Griffin, Branden McDonald, and have been selected to participate in the 2024 TopConnect Basketball Symposium at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The daylong symposium, sponsored by Teamworks and VanWagner, aims to identify the top assistant basketball coaches in the country and offer networking and leadership development opportunities. The event is set to take place on June 10 at the Thomas & Mack Center. The speakers will include Kristi Dosh of College Sports Solutions and Dan Poneman of Poneman & Naiditch Representation.

Bucknell men's basketball assistant coachesandhave been selected to participate in the 2024 TopConnect Basketball Symposium on June 10 at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.The daylong symposium is sponsored by Teamworks and VanWagner. Now in its seventh year, TopConnect was developed by East Tennessee State University Athletic Director Dr. Richard Sander to identify the top assistant basketball coaches in the country and provide networking and leadership development opportunities."TopConnect does a great job of fostering relationships, educating professionals, and helping people build a network," said McDonald. "This platform is a tremendous opportunity, I am very blessed and thankful to be selected. I look forward to representing Bucknell and myself at a high level.""I am humbled to be invited to the 2024 Top Connect Symposium, a prestigious opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with thought leaders, coaches, and administrators in college basketball," said Griffin. Working under head coach'08, they helped guide the Bison to a tie for second place in the Patriot League regular-season standings and a berth in the Patriot League Tournament semifinals last season.
