The man was taken to jail and remains pending trial.

One person is behind bars after a police chase left an officer injured Thursday night.
A Las Vegas police officer was attempting to stop a man near Las Vegas Blvd. and Reno Area around 7:57 p.m. as part of an investigation.
The suspect then fled on a scooter and required officers to chase him on foot.
Police said after catching up to the man, he resisted being arrested and additional officers responded to assist.
One officer pulled up close to the officers struggling with the suspect then as he exited his vehicle, the patrol car continued to move forward and rolled over the other officer's leg.
The officer sustained a minor injury and remains fine, police said.
According to LVMPD, the suspect was taken to jail.
