Danielle Ford, a nonpartisan candidate for the Nevada Governor's race, is challenging the two-party system in the current race against Republican incumbent Joe Lombardo and Democratic challenger Attorney General Aaron Ford. Ford, who was elected to the Nevada State Board of Education and a former Clark County School District Trustee, believes that education is connected to everything else and that if you fix education, it will improve Nevada. Her main issues include affordability, healthcare, safer communities, and holding government accountable. Ford shares the same last name as Democratic nominee Aaron Ford, but believes she is the best candidate for public education. So far this year, Ford has raised $2,600.
