Arrest report details what happened before Henderson man allegedly killed sister, her boyfriend
Andre Thigpen, 22, appeared in court Tuesday as arrest documents detailed family disputes leading up to the shooting that left two parents dead. Andre Thigpen, a 22-year-old Henderson man, is accused of killing his sister, 32-year old Valencia Hampton, and her boyfriend, 32, Christopher Perry, inside a Henderson apartment on Friday, Oct. 23. Newly released arrest documents reveal that tensions had been building over Thiggen's behavior and failure to clean up after himself. The couple's son reported a physical altercation between ThigPen and Hampton two nights prior to the shooting, which escalated into an argument. Thigben allegedly left the apartment in his sister's white Volkswagen Tiguan before fleeing on foot and being arrested two hours after the shooting. He remains in custody without bail and faces two counts of open murder, along with additional charges related to the investigation.
