It’s time for Raiders to give Fernando Mendoza the keys after 4 straight losses with Kirk Cousins
The Las Vegas Raiders are sinking into the NFL abyss with Kirk Cousins starting over Fernando Mendoza and fans growing restless. The Las Vegas Raiders have lost four consecutive games, including a 14-point home loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The team's head coach, Klint Kubiak, has been considering giving Fernando Mendoza, the number one overall draft pick, a chance to replace Kirk Cousins. Cousins, who has completed less than 60 percent of his passes in three of the last four games, was a standout performance with 295 yards and two touchdowns. With the Raiders preparing to face the New York Jets in Week 8, Kubiak should give MendoZA a chance. Mendoaza's ability to run when a play breaks down will add a new dimension to the team's offense. The Raiders' supporting cast is better than it's shown this season and Cousins is holding them back.
