Sean McVay delivers best coaching performance of season as Rams beat Raiders, revive playoff hopes
Sean McVay silenced critics with his best coaching performance of the season as the Rams beat the Raiders 35-21, rediscovering their offense and playoff hopes. Sean McVay delivered his best coaching performance of the season in the Los Angeles Rams' 35-21 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, revitalizing their season. This victory comes at a crucial time for the Rams, who were last place in the NFC West and were trailing with a 2-4 record. McVaya's performance was praised for avoiding mistakes, including poor travel arrangements, conservative play-calling, and neglecting special teams. Despite losing Davante Adams, Poona Ford, Kobie Turner and Blake Grupe to significant injuries, and Puka Nacua battling a calf injury, McVaye got almost everything right against the Raiders. The Rams balanced their offensive game with 199 rushing yards compared to Matthew Stafford's 195 passing yards, and were successful in balancing the run and pass.
