Snow Blind in Vegas: Toyota’s Snowhunter Truck and SUV Concepts Bring the Chill to SEMA

The Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Land Cruiser, and Sequoia trade tires for tracks in a quest to conquer the frozen tundra. Toyota has revealed a quintet Snowhunter concepts at SEMA, swapping its off-road SUVs and trucks from tires to tracks. The SUVS and trucks are also covered in roof racks, recovery equipment, and other goodies for exploring the snow. The Tundra Snowhunter concept features a Toyota TrailLift Pro Rack System Concept, designed to support configurable storage, organization, and gear. The 4Runner SUV also features a Snowhunter treatment, featuring rock rails, a Prinsu roof rack with accessory panels, and a Thule Pulse 2 cargo box. The Sequoia Snowhunter Concept applies the Snowhunter theme to the full-size segment. Toyota's CALTY Design Research center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, led the development of these tracked snow machines. The tracked drive systems were supplied by Toyota Genuine Parts and TRD.
