VEGAS MYTHS BUSTED: Zak Bagans Opened His Haunted Museum in an Already-Haunted Mansion
This week is Halloween and you know what that means—it's time to bust another self-perpetuated Zak Bagans myth! Previously, we exposed two of the Zak Bagans, host of TV's Ghost Adventures, opened his Haunted Museum in an already-haunted mansion in Downtown Las Vegas in 2015. The building, which already includes Dr. Jack Kevorkian’s “death van” and Charles Manson’ prison TV, was already known as “the witch house.” Some believe that the Wengert family spirits haunt the residents and that satanic rituals were performed in the basement. However, in a 2017 Las Vegas Magazine interview, Bagans admitted that Rachel Vosko, co-founder of Las Vegas’ Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, was his only source for the house’s satanic history. There are no pre-2015 newspaper articles, municipal records, or urban-legend guides calling the house “witch house.
