Boulder City police investigating 2021 robbery-murder; 2 suspects in custody
The Boulder City Police Department reported that it is investigating a robbery-murder from two and a half years ago. The Boulder City Police Department is investigating a 2021 robbery-murder that occurred two and a half years ago. The victim, a Boulder City resident, was the victim of a "follow-home robbery" where she was followed from Las Vegas to Boulder City and robbed of her purse. During the robbery, the victim sustained severe head injuries and died in December 2021. The Clark County Coroner's Office ruled the death a homicide and a murder investigation was initiated. During this investigation, detectives identified two suspects, both residents of Antioch, California, and obtained open murder warrants for their arrests. One suspect is currently being held in Portland on a Nevada murder warrant and is awaiting extradition. The second suspect was arrested in Contra Costa County, California by a US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and extradited to Las Vegas on March 30.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Boulder City Police Department reported that it is investigating a robbery-murder from two and a half years ago.
In October 2021, a Boulder City resident was the victim of a “follow-home robbery,” according to police. The victim was followed from Las Vegas to Boulder City, where the suspects robbed the victim of her purse.
During the robbery, the victim fell to the ground and sustained severe head injuries. The victim died in December 2021 from the injuries sustained during the robbery. The Clark County Coroner’s Office ruled the death a homicide and a murder investigation was initiated.
During the investigation, detectives served numerous search warrants, which ultimately led to the identification of two suspects, both residents of Antioch, California. Investigators obtained open murder warrants for the arrest of both suspects in February 2024.
One suspect was arrested on March 18 by the Portland Police Bureau in Portland, Oregon. That suspect is currently being held in the Multnomah County Detention Center in Portland on a Nevada murder warrant and is awaiting extradition. The second suspect was arrested on March 19 in Contra Costa County, California by a US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and was extradited to Las Vegas on March 30.
